NEW YORK CITY—A magnitude 5.8 earthquake that shook parts of the mid-Atlantic U.S. and New England Tuesday afternoon sent workers and residents streaming outdoors. In Lower Manhattan, surrounding the Scientific American office, vehicle traffic quickly came to a standstill—with New York Police Department officers ordering drivers to back their vehicles out of the Holland Tunnel. People streamed out onto the sidewalks and into neighborhood cafes as buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Officials in Washington, D.C., fewer than 160 kilometers from the quake's epicenter near Mineral, Va., closed all national monuments. And many office buildings in the nation's capital remained closed to business as of Tuesday afternoon.
Most U.S. quakes occur in Alaska and California, but the East Coast is no stranger to temblors, with fault lines running throughout the area. The U.S. Geological Survey, however, had rated the probability of a quake larger than magnitude 5.7 occurring in the Richmond, Va., area in the next 100 years as less than 20 percent.
The Virginia quake followed a rare magnitude 5.3 rattler in southern Colorado.

WHEN Obama wrote a book and said he was mentored as a youth by Frank
(Frank Marshall Davis) an avowed Communist, people said it didn't
matter.
WHEN it was discovered that his grandparents were strong socialists
who sent Obama's mother to a socialist school where she was
introduced to Frank Marshall Davis. He was later introduced to young
Barrack Hussein Obama. People said it didn't matter.

to "fundamentally transform this Nation" into something else, people

WHEN it became known that he had trained ACORN workers in Chicago and
served as an attorney for ACORN, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he appointed cabinet members and several advisers who were tax
cheats and socialists, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he appointed a Science Czar, John Holdren, who believes in
forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen
mothers, people said it didn't matter.

WHEN he upset the Europeans by removing plans for a missile defense
system against the Russians, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he played politics in Afghanistan by not sending troops early-on
when the Field Commanders said they were necessary to win, people
said it didn't matter.
WHEN he started spending us into a debt that was so big we could not
pay it off, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he took a huge spending bill under the guise of stimulus and
used it to pay off organizations, unions, and individuals that got
him elected, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he took over insurance companies, car companies, banks, etc.,
people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he took away student loans from the banks and put it through the
government, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it
under government control, people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he claimed he was a Christian during the election and tapes were
later made public that showed Obama speaking to a Muslim group and
'stating' that he was raised a Muslim; was educated as a Muslim; and
that he is still a Muslim-- people said it didn't matter.
WHEN he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy
in the United States through Cap and Trade, people said it didn't
matter.
WHEN he finally completed his transformation of America into a
Socialist State , people finally woke up--- but it was too late.
Add these up one by one and you get a phenomenal score that points to
the fact that Barrack Hussein Obama is determined to turn America
into a Marxist-Socialist society.

Los Angeles, July 20, 2011 – CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc (NYSE:CBG) today announced that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has awarded CB Richard Ellis a contract to serve as its exclusive provider of strategic corporate real estate solutions nationally. CB Richard Ellis will provide transaction management services for USPS, including leasing and disposition. USPS’s portfolio consists of approximately 35,000 facilities, totaling over 300 million sq. ft.
Historically, USPS has worked with multiple real estate service providers, including CB Richard Ellis since 1997. The new contract with CB Richard Ellis enables USPS to consolidate these activities with one service provider.
CB Richard Ellis’ Brian Murphy led the USPS pursuit team, partnering with the Washington, D.C.-based Public Institutions team as well as professionals in the Denver and New York markets. John Chichester will serve as the Alliance Director for the account.

On the day the new Congress convened this year, Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband’s real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.
Mrs. Feinstein’s intervention on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. was unusual: the California Democrat isn’t a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs with jurisdiction over FDIC; and the agency is supposed to operate from money it raises from bank-paid insurance payments - not direct federal dollars.
Documents reviewed by The Washington Times show Mrs. Feinstein first offered Oct. 30 to help the FDIC secure money for its effort to stem the rise of home foreclosures. Her letter was sent just days before the agency determined that CB Richard Ellis Group (CBRE) - the commercial real estate firm that her husband Richard Blum heads as board chairman - had won the competitive bidding for a contract to sell foreclosed properties that FDIC had inherited from failed banks.
About the same time of the contract award, Mr. Blum’s private investment firm reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission that it and related affiliates had purchased more than 10 million new shares in CBRE. The shares were purchased for the going price of $3.77; CBRE’s stock closed Monday at $5.14.

On the day the new Congress convened this year, Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband’s real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.
Mrs. Feinstein’s intervention on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. was unusual: the California Democrat isn’t a member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs with jurisdiction over FDIC; and the agency is supposed to operate from money it raises from bank-paid insurance payments - not direct federal dollars.
Documents reviewed by The Washington Times show Mrs. Feinstein first offered Oct. 30 to help the FDIC secure money for its effort to stem the rise of home foreclosures. Her letter was sent just days before the agency determined that CB Richard Ellis Group (CBRE) - the commercial real estate firm that her husband Richard Blum heads as board chairman - had won the competitive bidding for a contract to sell foreclosed properties that FDIC had inherited from failed banks.
About the same time of the contract award, Mr. Blum’s private investment firm reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission that it and related affiliates had purchased more than 10 million new shares in CBRE. The shares were purchased for the going price of $3.77; CBRE’s stock closed Monday at $5.14.

The Tea Party is responsible,
and is full of RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE!!! This is why the S&P changed the rating for the US. S&P knows that the current Administration as well as the Congress are NOT RESPONSIBLE...........AT ALL..!!!! They constantly look fow ways to waste YOUR MONEY... Obama is trying to put the HIP in HYPOCRACY, but he is FAILING AT THAT TOO!!Notice a few things:
Blame - The blame game is the consistent standard of the Democratic Party. This is their archetype!! Their whole lives are full of blaming others for their problems. This is proven by the programs that they support. They support generations of WELFARE which is full of people who blame others for their own problems. Consider the words of John Kerry blaming the Tea Party for the "Tea Party DownGrade". I think the Tea Party should wear this as a badge of honor....
(speaking of badges of honor, if Kerry threw his Purple Heart over the Whitehouse fence, how is it that he still has it in his possession?)
THEIR TARGET AUDIENCE:
The Democratic Party targets those who have failed in their lives and want to blame others for their own problems. They believe that if you tax the rich until they are poor, then all people are equal. A very misguided theory. Kill good leadership and all will perish!

I never got a job from a poor man. If I stand in the way of a man who knows how to grow a business, he doesn't grow his business and I don't get a job from him when ke grows..
